With seven sea-view cabins and four outdoor spaces to make your own, Mari is an excellent choice for a private charter in Indonesia. Gather over long lunches in the 50 sqm al fresco dining area, stretch out on the sundeck, or find a quieter corner in the shaded lounge between dives. With 14 crew looking after a maximum of 14 guests, there is plenty of space to share the journey while service remains personal.
Mari routes at a glance
Mari currently sails Komodo, Sumbawa, Raja Ampat, the Banda Sea and Triton Bay. The Komodo and Sumbawa crossings show what a longer route can hold: current-fed reefs, volcanic islands, whale shark encounters, a crater-lake stop at Satonda and a walk to Mata Jitu Waterfall on Moyo Island alongside the diving.
Mari's routes follow Indonesia's seasons. For the dates that are actually open, check the available charter dates further down this page — that widget is the most up-to-date schedule we have. The list below is the usual rhythm of the year, not a guarantee of availability:
- Raja Ampat: year-round. South Raja Ampat closes from June to September.
- Komodo: May to September.
- Sumbawa: year-round and commonly combined with Komodo. Whale shark season runs from May to September.
- Banda Sea: September to November.
- Triton Bay: combined with Raja Ampat or the Banda Sea on voyages of at least 12 nights.

Who should charter Mari?
Mari is particularly well suited to dive clubs, groups of friends and mixed groups traveling together. Divers, snorkelers and non-divers can share the voyage without sharing every moment of it, while seven cabins and four outdoor spaces give the group room to settle in. Full-boat and half-boat options mean the charter begins with the group you have.
A day aboard Mari
The day begins with a light breakfast before the first early dive. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks follow through the day, with Indonesian and Western meals included and dietary requirements accommodated when arranged in advance.
Three tenders are used for diving, snorkeling and excursions ashore, while a cruise director and three dive guides keep the dive operation personal and well organized.
What is included
Your charter includes accommodation in Mari's ensuite cabins, a fully crewed vessel, all meals during the cruise, drinking water and hot drinks, regular guided dives, a 12L tank and weights, plus the land excursions set out in the itinerary. Mari gives your group four distinct outdoor places to use throughout the day: a 50 sqm al fresco dining area, forward sundeck, open sky deck and shaded lounge. Combined with seven main-deck cabins, they make it easy to gather, dine and take time apart without leaving the boat.
Charter Mari for up to 14 guests while paying for 12. A €3,000 initial deposit, due within seven days of booking, secures the full boat. The remaining charter payments are staged ahead of departure, so your group can plan early with the full schedule set out in our Terms & Conditions.
Mari carries 14 crew for a maximum of 14 guests. A cruise director and three dive guides support the diving, keeping the diver-to-guide ratio at up to 4:1. Nitrox is available to certified divers at an additional charge.

She carries up to 14 guests in seven sea-view ensuite cabins, all on the main deck, combining the character of a wooden sailing boat with the all the amenities that a diver would need to unwind between dives.

Minimum charter length depends on where you sail. Komodo starts at 5 nights and Raja Ampat at 7. The Banda Sea and Triton Bay run to at least 12 nights. Crossing itineraries follow a set schedule. Contact us for the current options and dates.

A deposit of 30% per person is due within 7 days of booking, and the remaining 70% is due no later than 90 days before departure.
Bookings made less than 90 days before departure are payable in full at the time of booking.

Cancelling 91 days or more before departure costs 25% of the cruise rate per person. Cancelling 90 to 61 days before costs 50%, and 60 days or less costs 100%.
You can substitute another guest in your place up to 5 days before departure to avoid the penalty.
Yes. A guest occupying a cabin alone pays a single supplement of 50% of the base per person cabin rate.
Superior cabins are a bunk configuration suited to solo travelers and dive buddies, so sharing is also an option if you would rather not pay the supplement.
Your cruise rate includes:
- Airport or hotel transfers in the embarkation and disembarkation city;
- Accommodation in a cabin with double-bed, twin-bed, or bunkbed configuration, all with en-suite bathroom and individually controlled air conditioning;
- Fully crewed vessel
- All meals, drinking water and hot drinks;
- All guided dives conducted as part of the regular cruise program;
- 12L tank, weigh belt, weights;
- Land excursions as described in the itinerary.
The following are not included in the cruise rate:
- Flights, visas and airport taxes
- National park and port fees
- Fuel surcharge
- Nitrox fills
- Equipment rental
- Dive courses
- Dive insurance
- Crew gratuities
Alcohol, soft drinks and other beverages are payable separately, in cash on board.
No. Park and port fees are paid in cash on board and depend on the length of your cruise: 140 EUR per person for cruises up to 11 nights, and 200 EUR per person for cruises of 12 nights or more.
A fuel surcharge is also collected on board, at 150 EUR per person up to 11 nights and 250 EUR per person for 12 nights or more.
